Privacy policy

This policy explains what information PendulumX LLC ("we", "us") collects when you use Sellotics and our website, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Our Security & data page covers the same ground in plainer terms.

Information we collect

When you sign up or join the waitlist

• Your name and email address, through our sign-in provider. You sign in with Google or a one-time code sent to your email. We don't use passwords.
• If you join the waitlist: your email, what you sell, your print partner if you sell print on demand, your Etsy shop name if you give it, and where you heard about us.
• The email addresses of team members you invite, and the permissions you give them.

What you add to Sellotics

• Product costs, expenses, settings and saved keyword lists.
• Listing drafts you build, with the photos, video and files you upload.
• Etsy Ads reports you choose to upload.
• Messages you send us from the Contact page, and feedback you send from the app (with the page it was sent from, and your email if you ask us to reply by email).

From services you connect

• Etsy: your shop details, listings, orders, refunds, payment account entries (such as fees, ad charges and credits) and reviews buyers left on your shop. We remove buyer names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers before storing anything, keep only the buyer's country, and store reviews without who wrote them.
• Printify: your shops, products and orders, including what Printify charged you.

We never receive your Etsy or Printify password. You sign in on their sites, and we receive an access key that you can revoke at any time.

Collected automatically

• Basic technical information our servers record, such as the page requested, the time and your IP address, used to keep the service running and secure.
• Cookies that keep you signed in, and settings saved in your browser (for example a tip you closed). Our network security provider may also set a cookie to tell people apart from automated traffic.

We don't use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

How we use information

• To provide the service: profit, costs, listing scores, suggestions, alerts and the other tools for your shop.
• To send changes to Etsy, only when you ask: a listing draft you choose to send, or an edit you turn on, review and confirm.
• To run billing, answer messages and send account and service emails.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To improve Sellotics from the feedback you send us.

We do not sell your information, use it to advertise to you or anyone else, or contact your buyers. We don't send your data to AI models.

Emails

We send account and service emails, and the summaries and alerts you can switch off in your account settings. We keep a record of each email we send (who it went to, which email, when, and whether it was delivered) for a year, and its content for 90 days, so we can help if something goes wrong. We don't record whether you open our emails.

Who we share it with

We share information only:

• with service providers that help us run Sellotics: sign-in and account security, payments (Stripe, which handles card details; we never see or store card numbers), email delivery, and network security. Each may use it only to provide its service to us;
• with Etsy, when you send a listing or an edit to your shop;
• when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or Sellotics;
• if PendulumX LLC is sold or merged, with the new owner, who must honor this policy;
• or with your consent.

Your information is stored on our own servers in the United States.

How long we keep it

• We keep your data while your account is open. Cancelling or changing your plan never deletes it.
• When you disconnect a shop, its Etsy data is kept for 60 days in case you reconnect, then deleted. Costs and expenses you entered are kept.
• When you delete your account, it closes right away and is erased 30 days later. Signing in before then restores it.
• If a Free account goes unused for 12 months, we delete its Etsy data, after emailing you 30 days and 7 days before. Signing in resets the clock. Your account, costs and expenses stay.
• Photos, video and files for a listing draft are deleted 30 days after the listing is sent to Etsy. Drafts never sent are deleted after 90 days without changes.
• To offer one free trial per Etsy shop, we keep a record of each shop that has had one: the shop's Etsy ID number and the date. It contains nothing else and is kept after an account is deleted.
• Billing records are kept by our payment provider as the law requires.
• We back up our database every day. Backups are kept for up to a year, so deleted data can remain in a backup until that backup is replaced.

Your choices and rights

• Export your orders, listings and expenses as CSV files from the app, on any plan.
• Delete your account from your account settings, or disconnect a shop or Printify at any time.
• Switch summary and alert emails on or off in your account settings.
• Revoke our access from your Etsy or Printify account settings.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct or delete your information, or to object to certain uses. To ask, send us a message from the Contact page and choose Privacy and data requests. We'll confirm the request comes from the account holder before acting on it.

Security

We encrypt Etsy and Printify access keys at rest, use HTTPS everywhere, keep each seller's data apart and check every request against your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you about a breach as the law requires.

Children

Sellotics is a business tool for adults and is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We'll post changes on this page with a new date, and email you about significant ones before they take effect.
